Hebrew 13.7-17 -- The word “remember” in v7 is a mental highlighter that is meant to transfix our focus on how the previous leaders impacted us. It is evidently clear that their former leaders’ faith has both been impacted by someone else, and their faith has impacted others, especially them. Since the exhortations is to do likewise, we too should consider ourselves as an indispensable link for the benefit of the Gospel.

Since we’ve heard the final word from God, and since “we” are in a covenant relationship together with Christ we ought to be different, and available to assist one another, if we truly believe.
